Formula 1 racing will welcome its youngest driver ever to the track next season, even though the racer won't be legally allowed to drive by himself until late next year.
The 17-year-old Dutch driver Max Verstappen is no stranger to the racetrack: He's the son of ex-F1 driver Jos Verstappen, and had his first kart race at 7 years old.
Verstappen was plucked from Formula 3, a feeder league where he won seven races last year. In general, F1 racing has been moving toward younger and younger drivers in recent years, reports Jalopnik.
