Last year,OPRAH WINFREY told us about how she loves bread. But there's something she loves even more . . . SOUP. And not any particular kind apparently, just soup in general.

Her love affair with soup started back when she was a poor kid. She saw all the rich, little white kids eating it. She says, quote, "[I was thinking] 'Oh gosh, little white boys get soup from their moms.' I really did.

"And I thought, 'Gee, if my mom could only serve me soup' . . . I associated that soup as a love thing . . . my world would be perfect, and we'd all live happily ever after as the credits rolled if my mom would ladle up a great big bowl of Campbell's soup just for me." But that was "out of the question."

Her mom was so poor that Oprah had to pour grape Kool-Aid over her cereal because they couldn't afford milk. Of course, Oprah is less broke now. She has $2.9 billion . . . probably enough to buy up all the soup in the world.

Now, she has a big bowl of soup almost every day for lunch . . . and her new cookbook "Food, Health, and Happiness", starts off with 19 soup recipes. She says, quote, "Whoever you are, wherever you're from, there's no denying it: Soup is love."

January 8th would have been ELVIS PRESLEY's 82nd birthday. And as usual, there was a birthday celebration at Graceland in Memphis. But the most surprising guest of all that day was . . . ELVIS HIMSELF.

There's a picture from the festivities where you can see a burly guy with a white beard and mustache. He's wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses. And people think he's actually The King.

There's a Facebook page called Evidence Elvis Presley is Alive . . . because of course there is . . . and when the picture was posted there, a lot of people decided that this guy is exactly what Elvis would look like if he were alive today.

They also think there are security guards in the background keeping tabs on him. Obviously, the real Elvis would travel with protection . . . you know, just in case somebody saw through his elaborate disguise of hat and sunglasses.

And as long as we're pointing out how silly all of this is, I say this man is nowhere near 82 anyway.
Is this man Elvis? Some fans think so

The upcoming episode of Urban Myths that featured Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson has been pulled following outcry from Jackson's family.
"We have taken the decision not to broadcast Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon...in light of the concerns expressed by Michael Jackson's immediate family," Sky Arts said in a statement.
  • "We set out to take a lighthearted look at reportedly true events and never intended to cause any offense."
  • The decision came days after the release of the anthology series' first trailer featuring Fiennes' portrayal of Jackson.
  • A day later, the late singer's daughter Paris tweeted her disapproval.
  • Upon learning of the decision to cancel, she said: "i'm surprised the family's feelings were actually taken into consideration for once, we all really do appreciate it more than y'all know."

According to a psychologist, today is the most DEPRESSING day of the year. But I assure you, it has nothing to do with it being Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The psychologist who's saying it's depressing is British, NOT racist.

Dr. Cliff Arnall figured out that the most depressing day of the year always falls on a Monday in January, and this year, it's today.

The formula is based on a bunch of factors, including:

The weather . . . the glow from the holidays wearing off . . . people failing on their New Year's resolutions . . . people realizing how much debt they racked up in December . . . and the amount of time until we go on vacation again.

Did hearing all of that make you MORE bummed out than you were before? This most depressing day thing can kind of be a self-fulfilling prophecy, huh?

A couple named David and Jennifer Butler got married last Saturday near Punta Gorda, Florida. And the ceremony was great, but the reception . . . not so much.
Jennifer's maid of honor was a 35-year-old friend named Amanda Willis, who immediately got HAMMERED. She started chugging a bottle of Fireball, and was already drunk about 20 minutes in.
Then she started asking for people's keys . . . grabbed the best man's keys out of his pocket . . . and tried to drive off in his car.
She almost hit him in the parking lot while she was backing up. Then he hung onto the door . . . got dragged through the parking lot . . . and had to pull the emergency brake to stop her.
Other guests had to wrestle her out of the car. Then she went back into the reception . . . started chugging a bottle of Captain Morgan . . . and punched a guy in the FACE.
When the cops got there, she pretended to have a seizure. So they took her to a hospital where she exposed herself, attacked two EMTs, and kicked over a bedpan.
It turns out she's been arrested at least eight other times and was on probation. She's been charged with battery, larceny, and grand theft auto. And Jennifer says they're NOT friends anymore.

I was thinking maybe new parents this year would reverse the recent trends and go back to more basic, traditional names. But . . . NOPE. Babies are going to get crazier names than ever.

The writers at Nameberry.com just released their predictions for the 100 hottest baby names of this year, based on the trends they've been spotting.

Now, there are a FEW benign names that made the list, like Dylan, Emilia, Remy, Sadie, Sasha, and Simone. But once you get past those, things get a little stranger.

One big trend they're seeing is old-fashioned names making a comeback. Their list includes Amos, Baxter, Beatrice, Birdie, Clara, Esther, Frank, Goldie, Gus, Isadora, Lionel, Monty, Otis, Ozzie, Quincy, Ray, Reuben, Ruth, Tallulah, Vera, and Winston.

There are also some pop culture inspired names, like Archer, Arrow, Bowie, Thor, and Zelda.

And, of course, there are some that are just as crazy as possible, like Calliope, Echo, Indigo, Keziah, Lachlan, Loxley, McCoy, Osiris, Saskia, and Zinnia.

"Delete your account" has become the ultimate Twitter burn. When somebody Tweets something stupid, there's no better way to shut them down. HILLARY CLINTON even got massive re-Tweets when she told DONALD TRUMP to do it.

Well, it turns out Hillary had her finger on the pulse of America, because a new poll shows that most of us want Donald to LITERALLY delete his account.

According to the poll from Quinnipiac University, 64% of voters think he should close his account. And among the 18 to 34 crowd, it's 71%.

It was even close with Republicans. Less than half of Republicans want him to keep on Tweeting . . . 49%. But only 45% say he should stop. Apparently, 6% don't care.

American voters, especially young voters, say 64 - 32 percent that Trump should close his personal Twitter account. Republicans say 49 - 45 percent Trump should keep his Twitter account. Voters in every other party, gender, age and racial group say close the account. Voters 18 to 34 years old say 71 - 26 percent that Trump should close the Twitter account, higher than any other age group.

"140 characters may not be enough to tell Donald Trump just how much Americans want him to knock off the tweeting," Malloy said (in less than 140 characters).

"While the president-elect argues his missives inform, many say stow the phone."

Heres The Report In Full https://www.buzzfeed.com/kenbensinger/these-reports-allege-trump-has-deep-ties-to-russia?utm_term=.fjXzKpwEo#.anMlGaR7K

Bizarre new allegations about DONALD TRUMP's ties to Russia surfaced yesterday. Classified documents that were presented to both Trump and PRESIDENT OBAMA last week hit the Internet. And it's wild stuff.

It's completely unverified at this point, but at least some of it supposedly comes from a British intelligence officer who's considered credible. Our people are looking into it as we speak.

The report says that Russia has a lot of incriminating info on Trump, which they'd gathered over a period of several years. But of course they kept it quiet, and instead coordinated with his campaign to release damaging intel on HILLARY CLINTON.

There's one allegation that's truly insane, and not for sensitive ears. Supposedly, Trump once booked the presidential suite at Moscow's Ritz-Carlton Hotel, specifically requesting a room where the Obamas had stayed.

(Careful!) Then he hired a group of Russian prostitutes to perform a, quote, "golden showers show" right there in front of him, on the bed the Obamas had slept in. (???)

Obviously, Twitter is having a field day with this.

Donald has already Tweeted his denial. He called it "fake news" and a "total political witch hunt."

There was another embarrassing moment for Trump yesterday, when the guy putting together his inauguration denied the need for big celebrities.

He said, quote, "What we've done instead of trying to surround him with what people consider A-listers is we are going to surround him with the SOFT SENSUALITY of the place."

But hey, on the plus side, some of that "soft sensuality" may come from CAITLYN JENNER, who has reportedly accepted an invitation to the inauguration.

There's a good chance you're one of the millions of people who made a New Year's resolution to get in better shape this year. There's ALSO a good chance you're already realizing your plan to hit the gym five days a week is DOOMED.

But here's some good news. According to a new study out of Loughborough University in England, you only need to work out two days a week to get the basic health benefits of exercise and lower your risk of DROPPING DEAD.

The researchers say you need to do 75 minutes of hard exercise or 150 minutes of moderate exercise a week to lower your chances of dying from heart disease by 40% and your chances of dying from cancer by 18%.

So if you just hit the gym hard for around 35 minutes two days a week, that could be enough.

Now . . . when it comes to other goals, like getting a six pack or losing weight, those will take more time and effort. But if you just want to change from being totally sedentary to somewhat healthy, two days of exercise can cut it.

If you think about it with hunting, outdoor firing ranges, military training facilities there is a lot of bullet shells that get fired but don't get cleaned up after and essentially become bad for the environment and wildlife. Luckily the Department Of Defense wants to turn those shells into plants but they need your ideas! Check out the details HERE

I can't agree with any of this woman's decisions, but I DO wish I loved anything as much as she loves just kicking back and enjoying a beer.

The cops in Newberry Township, Pennsylvania tried to pull over a woman for drunk driving last week. But she took off, and they eventually cornered her 2011 Subaru Outback against the Susquehanna River.

At least they THOUGHT they'd cornered her. But she gunned it, drove right into the river . . . and then kept on DRINKING HER BEER inside her car as she floated away.

The fire department eventually managed to tow her back to the shore.

They took her to the hospital to get checked out, and she hasn't been charged yet, but I'm sure plenty of charges are coming soon.

Since emojis have become one of the most important parts of communication, I guess we should keep up on what's popular.

A massive new study by the University of Michigan just figured out the most popular emoji in the world is . . . the "tears of joy" face. That's the yellow face with the huge smile and tears coming out of both eyes, in case you don't know. It's also the most popular emoji in the U.S.

It's SO popular that we use it almost three times more than any other emoji.

The rest of the five most popular emojis in the United States are: The "kissing face" that has a heart right next to the mouth . . . the face with hearts for eyes . . . the face that's smiling and blushing . . . and the red heart.

The study also found that about 9% of all the texts we send contain at least one emoji. And women are twice as likely to use an emoji as men.

A guy named Richard Christianson from Laveen, Arizona posted a photo on Facebook on New Year's Day, and it's going viral because people can't quite figure out what it is.

The photo shows a large, shadowy figure that appears to have WINGS standing on the street. Is it a DEMON? Or an ANGEL? People aren't sure. It also might be a palm tree, which is the most logical answer, but also the least fun.

We're less than a week into the New Year . . . which means there's a decent chance you've already failed at your New Year's resolution. So here are four tips to help you get back on track . . .

1. Ease into it this time. One of the biggest mistakes people make is jumping in and trying to change everything all at once. You're more likely to succeed if you ease into a plan.

2. Set small goals along the way. If you set your goals too high, your first slip-up will feel like a huge failure and you'll quit because you're discouraged. Instead, set smaller goals, like telling yourself you'll go for a walk after dinner three times this week.

3. Sleep. We all know sleep is important for our health. The problem for most of us is making it a priority when we already feel like there aren't enough hours in the day.

Here's how to fix that: set a goal for the time you want to go to bed each night, and take the hour before that time to get ready, whether that means turning the lights down and your screens off, putting your kids to bed, or reading a book.

4. Hydrate. A 2016 study from the University of Illinois found that just drinking two to three extra glasses of water a day can help prevent you from eating more than 200 calories. So if you're trying to lose weight, drink up.

I wish we had a picture of this woman's engagement ring . . . so every guy out there could know exactly what NOT to buy.

A 25-year-old woman named Enrevie Bendejo from Fernandina Beach, Florida got engaged to her boyfriend over Christmas.

But apparently she wasn't thrilled with the ring he gave her . . . and on Monday, they argued about it all day. Things escalated to the point where she decided to break up with him.

And then she grabbed a two-by-four off the front porch that had some nails sticking out of it . . . and HIT him with it. She also bit him on the arm and punched him in the face.

She was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. There's no word on whether the engagement is still on . . . although I'm thinking the bad ring isn't their biggest issue.

Scientists just proved one of life's cruelest pieces of irony: You're the MOST attractive to hot women when you can't do anything about it . . . because you're already locked down with one.

A study from Texas Christian University found that when a guy has an attractive girlfriend or wife, other women instantly find him more desirable . . . and also believe he is more intelligent, honest, funny, rich, romantic, ambitious, and generous.

There's really nothing you can do about it, though . . . because if you end your current relationship to try to date those women who now think you're a catch, they won't have those positive feelings about you anymore as a single guy.

You probably use your phone when you're on the toilet . . . and in the process, it's getting BLASTED with all sorts of disgusting particles and germs. So one cell phone company in Japan just came up with a solution.

They've started installing dispensers with special TOILET PAPER for wiping your phone screen at the airport in Tokyo. Apparently the wipes help disinfect your screen to make everything a little less filthy and more sanitary.

There's no word on whether they're planning on expanding to more locations, or if the wipes could find their way over here.

Nevertheless, it took less than one full day before 2017 ALREADY had its first major selfie injury.

A 41-year-old woman named Muriel Benetulier from France was visiting Thailand over the holidays. And when she was hiking through a national park on New Year's Day, she decided to crouch down next to a crocodile for a selfie.

But . . . it promptly bit her leg, and she was rushed to the hospital where she's still recovering from her injuries.
