Great Cause For Great People!
For over 10 years The Fox morning show with Robbie & Dave, has produced a special fall broadcast to benefit The Roger Maris Cancer Center. The 61-for-61 radiothon is a chance for our community to recognize the great accomplishments of Fargo native Roger Maris and highlight the importance of the cancer treatment center bearing his name.
In 2009, you helped us bring in over $160,000 plus put the event over the $1,000,000 mark since its’ start.
Each year, Robbie and Dave with the rest of the Fox Staff broadcast live from the Honor Memorial Wall in the Sunmart parking lot on 25th and 32nd. We share stories of the individuals and families that have had their lives touched by the care and caregivers at the Roger Maris Cancer Center.
In addition to our broadcast we have a variety of events you can take part in. A silent auction,Games Galore each night for the kids, with Family Night on Friday Sept. 24th, which includes a Classic Car & Motorcycle show! TheFM Crusaders Mystery Ride and theHome Run/Walk. To raise even more money then before we’ve added a pledge drive to theHome Run/Walk.
All money raised will be used to support cancer research at The Roger Maris Cancer Center.
